We are delighted to inform you that we are now able to dispense your medication from the branch surgery in Chapel House, High Street, Bangor on Dee, LL13 0BU. We will also offer a collection service for the medication from the Overton surgery if this is more convenient for you.

The Regulations only allow us to offer this service to our patients who live more than a mile from their nearest pharmacy. Your written consent is a requirement from the local health board. We update your medical record after you have given us written consent and send the consent form to the local health board for validation.

This consent does not prevent you from taking your prescription to any other pharmacy.

We can dispense your medication if you live in the following areas:

Bangor on Dee, Bettisfield, Bowling Bank, Bronington, Cock Bank, Crabtree Green, Cross Lanes, Dudleston Heath, Erbistock, Eyton, Gyfelia, Hanmer, Horseman’s Green, Isycoed, Knolton Bryn, Lightwood Green, Marchwiel, Overton Bridge, Penley, Pen y Lan, Pentre Maelor, Ridleywood, Sontley, Tallarn Green, Threapwood, Worthenbury

We are not permitted to dispense your medication to you if you live in the following areas:

Ellesmere, Johnstown, Kings Mills, Little Overton, Llwyn Onn, Overton, Ruabon, St Martins and Wrexham Town

Ask at reception for a copy of the consent form. We require one consent form for each patient. Parents may sign for children under 16.

Always allow us 2 working days to handle your medication requests.

Emergency Dispensing - if you run out of medication please contact either surgery. Overton is open every day of the week from 8am until 6:30pm. The hours of opening at the branch surgery are displayed on this website, see Surgery Times. Pharmacies are able to provide a short term supply, but may charge you. Advice can also be obtained from the Out of Hours provider on 0300 123 5566.
